Switching mobile phones or workstations on a large scale
Switching mobile phones, laptops, PCs or other hardware in a large company requires a lot of organizing. Reflex has software which is very suitable for projects in which a lot of appointments need to be scheduled in a short period of time and provides support for such a process. Service providing IT-companies such as Unisys and Scholten Awater make full use of this.
Ten thousand workstations
Under the name Global Hardware Refresh, Unilever has recently switched almost 15,000 workstations of employees using Reflex Appointment XL software. Unisys, a global supplier and service provider in the area of IT, has executed this large project. Reflex trained the project employees of Unisys and helped with the initial set up, and offered support throughout the entire project.
Different time zones
Global Hardware Refresh was launched at sixty locations in 17 European countries. The appointment calendars were set up centrally - in this case in ten different languages – after which the project employees concerned could sign in at various locations themselves to view the current appointments. Later, it was North and South America’s turn. Reflex also took care of the software support for multiple time zones, as employees sometimes travel frequently or work at different locations.

In addition to the example of Unilever, Reflex has supplied software in several similar projects such as the switching of laptops or delivery of mobile phones within two days. Not only Unisys, but also Scholten Awater, one of the largest IT service providers in the Netherlands, use Reflex Appointment XL in order to realize efficiency benefits for clients in these types of projects.
How does it work?
Via the software of Reflex, the employees concerned receive an invitation to make an appointment. They select the desired time and location and subsequently receive a confirmation. Possibly with a link to enable the rescheduling of the appointment. The software will provide you, as the organizer, with a complete overview of who has made an appointment, when and for what purpose. If so desired in multiple languages and in different time zones. Have several employees not planned an appointment yet? Then you can send a timely reminder.
As these projects have a short process time and are only done once a year or very limitedly, we have based our rates on the number of supplied products.
